µεγαλοστοµίες για την σπουδαιότητα της θάλασσας από όλους όσους ανέβηκαν στο βήµα για τα εγκαίνια του 10th

τον ΕΟΤ, το Υπουργείο, την Τοπική Αυτοδιοίκηση κλπ. Από την πλευρά των Επαγγελµατιών, ιδιοκτητών και µεσιτών, ένα συµπυκνωµένο πακέτο αιτηµάτων για την διευκόλυνση και εξοµάλυνση των προβληµάτων, κυρίως νοµοθετικών και φοροαπαλλακτικών. Κάθε χρόνο, στο µικρόφωνο εκφωνούνται οι ίδιες προτάσεις µε διαφορετική σειρά. Η απόλυτη πλειοψηφία θεωρεί και πιστεύει ακράδαντα στην ανάπτυξη της χώρας µέσω θαλάσσης, αναφέρεται στην πολυνησία, την χάρη και το κάλλος του τόπου κλπ. Ωστόσο, γιατί δεν µπορεί να στηθεί ένα στέρεο πλαίσιο ώστε να µπει σε λειτουργία και τροχιά ανάπτυξης;


Αντίθεση


Οι παράγοντες και τα στελέχη στα κέντρα λήψης αποφάσεων µετατίθενται σε τακτά χρονικά διαστήµατα. Κανείς ή σχεδόν κανείς δεν προέρχεται από το χώρο του Yachting ή της ναυτιλίας, και σίγουρα κανείς δεν νοιώθει ναύτης, δεν αγαπά τη θάλασσα, ανεξάρτητα αν έχει κάνει διακοπές καλεσµένος σε «κότερο». Ειδικά το τελευταίο δεν τον καθιστά γνώστη του χώρου. Ο χρόνος για να αντιληφθεί τι σηµαίνει καµπινάτο - όπως χαριτωµένα ερώτησε καλλίγραµµη παραιτηθήσα υφυπουργός σε παλαιότερα εγκαίνια- είναι αρκετός για να κάνει η Κροατία άλλη µια µαρίνα.

Ministry of Mercantile Marine, the local authorities, etc. On the part of professionals, owners and brokers, we received a compact pack of requests concerning the need to facilitate and address the problems primarily associated with the legislation and tax exemption. Each year, the same suggestions are spelt out through the microphones but in a different order each time. The absolute majority firmly believes that “the Greek tiger” will leap out from the sea. They stress the multitude of islands, the grace and beauty of the place, etc. Yet, why can’t we establish a fixed framework to set plans into operation and into the orbit of development?


The Antithesis


Players and executives in the decision-making boards are regularly transferred. None of them or almost none comes from the world of yachting or the mercantile marine. Undoubtedly, none of them feels like a seaman, none of them loves the sea, even if they have been on holidays invited on board some luxury yacht at some point in their lives. Especially this last bit does not make them an expert in sea matters. The time it takes for the shapely figure of a now resigned deputy minister -who cutely asked during a previous opening ceremony- to understand the difference between a cabin and a cabinet is enough for Croatia to build yet another marina.
